Advantages

  • Trainer faces audience
  • Normal room lighting or dim the lights above the screen
  • Flexible and portable
  • Excellent in small to medium size rooms

Tips for Programs

    Disadvantages

    • Not very good in larger rooms
    • Unlike flipchart, cannot be taped to wall for later reference.

    Tips for Using Overheads

    • Use color to add emphasis.
    • Use frames to block excess light.
    • Pre-focus projector before presentation.
    • Place transparency on projector before turning lamp on.
    • Turn lamp off before removing transparency.
    • Avoid "keystone" effect.
    • Be sure the image is square on the screen.
    • Carry extra bulbs, extension cord and three-prong adapter.
